How to use
Open a PDF or drop it on the gray page area. Click the page to add text and type directly in the box. Drag the text to move it. For a signature, choose an image, click Place signature, then click the page. Download PDF when it looks right.
Example
The page sits on a gray canvas, like a reader. Click to drop text and type it in place, or drop a signature and drag it.
Input
notes.pdf, text “Approved”, signature.png on page 1
Output
notes-written.pdf with the text and signature stamped at the positions you chose
How it works
PDF-lib draws Helvetica text and embeds the signature image on copies of the original pages. Preview rendering uses PDF.js in the browser only. WebP and GIF signatures are refused so transparency handling stays predictable for PNG.
Common errors
- The PDF is encrypted Unlock it first if you have the password.
- A WebP signature was rejected Convert it to PNG (with transparency if you need it) or JPEG first.
- Text with accented letters looked wrong Helvetica WinAnsi cannot draw every Unicode character. Stick to Latin text or flatten a text image instead.
Limitations
This is an overlay stamp tool, not a full word processor. Existing PDF text is not editable as a rich document. Encrypted files, files over 15 MB, and documents over 200 pages are refused. At most 40 overlays per build.
Privacy
The file stays in your browser. PepsTools does not upload it, store it, or send it to another service. Clear the tool or leave the page to drop it from memory.
Questions
Is my signature uploaded?
No. The PDF, the signature image, and the download are built only in this browser.
How do I change the words?
Click the text on the page and type. A small bar appears on it to make the type smaller or larger, change the color, or remove it. Drag the text to move it.
