This policy describes the PepsTools site at pepstools.com. It is written for the features that exist today.
Tool input
JSON, CSV, YAML, Base64, URL encoding, JWT decoding, regular expressions, timestamps, cron expressions, text transforms, diffs, percentages, and date calculations run in your browser. That input is not sent to PepsTools and is not written to the database. Do not rely on this page as a place to store secrets. Your browser, extensions, and employer-managed device may still be able to see what you type.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, PepsTools stores your name, email address, subject, and message so the operator can read and delete them. A hash of the network address is stored for rate limiting, not the address itself. Messages stay until an administrator deletes them.
Accounts
There is no public registration. Administrator accounts exist only for people who operate the site. Admin sessions use an HTTP-only cookie.
Cookies and local storage
The public site stores your theme, favorite tools, recent tools, and consent choice in local storage on your device. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are not set unless those services are configured and you allow optional cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Logs
The server logs request paths and application errors. It is not supposed to log tool payloads, passwords, or contact message bodies. Search queries are not written to the application log.
