PepsTools uses a small amount of browser storage. Optional technologies stay unloaded until you allow them.
Essential
- Theme, favorites, and recent tools. Stored in local storage on this device. They are not sent to the server.
- Consent choice. Stored in local storage so the banner does not return on every page.
- Admin session cookie. Used only after an administrator signs in. It is HTTP-only.
Optional
If the operator adds a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID, the Google tag is present on pages with Consent Mode defaults set to denied. Analytics cookies and storage stay off until you choose “Allow optional cookies.” Events sent from tools include the tool name, not the text you typed.
If the operator adds an AdSense publisher ID, enables ads, and you allow optional cookies, advertising scripts can load on the homepage, category pages, tool pages, and guides. Ads are not placed on error pages. The built-in banner is a basic gate. It has not been certified as a Google consent-management platform. Operators serving people in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland should confirm Google’s current CMP requirements before enabling ads.
Changing your mind
Clear this site’s local storage in your browser to see the choice again. Blocking third-party cookies in the browser also limits advertising and analytics cookies.
