Delete PDF Pages

Remove the pages you list and download a PDF that still has at least one page.

Delete PDF Pages workspace

How to use it

Open a PDF and list the pages to remove, such as 2, 4-5. Build PDF copies every page you did not list. At least one page must remain.

Example

Deleting every page is refused, because an empty PDF is not a useful document.

Input

2, 4-5

Result

A PDF that no longer contains pages 2, 4, and 5. The other pages stay in their original order.

How it works

Page numbers are checked before copying. Repeated pages, backwards ranges, and numbers past the last page are errors. If the list covers every page, the tool stops and explains that an empty file will not be created.

Common errors

  • The result still has a page you meant to remove Pages are counted from 1 in the order the PDF stores them, which may differ from a printed footer.
  • Every page was listed Leave at least one page out of the delete list.
  • The box was left empty Name the pages to delete. An empty box is not a request to delete everything.

Limitations

The tool does not renumber existing page-number text that was drawn into the content. Use Add Page Numbers afterward if you need a new count. Encrypted files and files over the size and page limits are refused.

Privacy

The file stays in your browser. PepsTools does not upload it, store it, or send it to another service. Clear the tool or leave the page to drop it from memory.

Questions

Can this create a zero-page PDF?

No. The build stops when the delete list includes every page.
