DateTimeZone interprets the wall time in the source zone, then formats the same instant in the target zone. Ambiguous or non-existent local times around DST transitions are rejected when the runtime cannot represent them.
Errores habituales
- An unknown zone was refused Use an IANA name such as Europe/Berlin or America/Chicago.
- The local time does not exist That clock time may fall in a DST spring-forward gap. Pick a valid wall time.
- You needed city search Type the IANA zone id directly; there is no geolocation lookup.
Limitaciones
Historical zone rule changes depend on the PHP/ICU data on the server for any server-side check; the browser tool uses the engine available in the tab. Recurring meeting planners are out of scope.
