Mode d’emploi
Choose a PNG, pick the background color, Create file, then Download. Semi-transparent pixels blend onto the background before encoding.

JPEG cannot store alpha. The status states that transparency was flattened onto the background.

The canvas is filled with the chosen color, the PNG is drawn on top, and the browser encodes JPEG. Non-PNG files are refused so WebP or JPEG is not silently re-encoded here.
Erreurs courantes
- A JPEG was selected Use this page for PNG only. Use WebP to JPG or Image Compressor for other formats.
- Halos appear around edges Those pixels were partly transparent. Pick a background closer to the surrounding color.
- The file grew JPEG quality is high by default. Lower quality in a compressor if you need a smaller file.
Limites
Animated PNG is not preserved as animation. Color profiles are not copied as a separate workflow. The 15 MB and 8000 pixel limits apply.
Confidentialité
The file stays in your browser. PepsTools does not upload it, store it, or send it to another service. Clear the tool or leave the page to drop it from memory.

Where does transparency go?
Onto the background color in the form. JPEG has no alpha channel.
